On My Way to China

Well, in three days I'll be winging my way to Beijing, China for an International Coaching Conference and Training. I hope you all enjoy my various observations and experiences. I certainly will!

It hit me today that I will be in a huge city and country where I do not know a soul and don't speak the language. That left me feeling incredibly alone yet intrigued by the solitariness of this journey. Although we live our lives in connection and relationship with others, ultimately, we are solitary, alone. Paradoxically we are deeply, fundamentally interconnected, too.

I am curious as to how this trip will clarify my understanding and experience of these states of being, where the point of interconnection exists and what I am going to have for breakfast!
